Courtney Johnson, MSPAS, PA-C

Courtney Johnson, MSPAS, PA-C, is a seasoned orthopedic physician assistant with over a decade of experience treating patients across a diverse spectrum of ages.  Specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine, she has worked with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes, delivering exceptional care in both the operating room as a first assist and clinical settings in addition to spending many Friday nights as the attending orthopedic provider on the side lines of local high school football games. With a high-volume patient background, Courtney brings a wealth of expertise to her new venture as the founder of The Mangrove Regenerative Health, a cutting-edge practice focused on innovative regenerative medicine therapies, all in the comfort of your home. This includes targeted treatments for physical performance, prevention and recovery, as well as a specialized regenerative aesthetic sector offering skin and scar treatments, hair loss solutions and dry eye therapies. Her strong focus and meticulous attention to detail have honed her ability to accurately diagnose complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions. 

 

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry and minor in Biology, from Erskine College, where she graduated Cum Laude with honors. She also completed graduate research in genetics at Clemson. During her undergraduate years, she captained the women’s NCAA D II golf team on a full-ride scholarship. She went on to earn a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the esteemed Medical University of South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA. With a passion for sports and the great outdoors, following her formal education Courtney naturally gravitated to Orthopedics with special interest in sports medicine, placing in the top 1% in Orthopedics on her national certification exam. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is license by the Florida Medical Board.  

 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Courtney enjoys spending time at the sandbar with friends, fly fishing, paddleboarding, skiing, mountain biking, golfing and birding.  Married for eight years, she shares a love of the outdoors with her husband and their three water-loving dogs.  Together they are also involved in several local organizations helping to maintain Florida’s pristine fisheries.
